Rose Breasted Cockatoos (Eolophus roseicapillus are one of the smaller members of the Cockatoo family at approximately 13.5 inches, but they are one of the most beautiful. Rose Breasteds or "Rosies" as they are affectionately called, in the wild are widely distributed in areas of north, east and central Australia. They are predominantly dark pink , back, wings and tail are grey and the crown is light pink. The beak is horn colored and the eye rings on adults is reddish pink. Juveniles are closely colored to the adults except the eye ring is whiteish pink and the colors are less defined.
